In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, an insurance provider is hosting a webinar to discuss disease prevention and care.
“Breast cancer remains a national health priority in the Philippines, and we believe that proper education and awareness on this matter is one of the best ways for prevention and recovery,” said Rahul Hora, president and chief executive of Axa Philippines.
Axa Philippines on October 31 at 10:30 a.m. will be holding “United We Fight Breast Cancer” webinar via Zoom (bit.ly/HealthConvoBreastCancer).
The webinar will feature health professional, Andrew Sokolov, MS, RN, director for care management services at Preferred Global Health. Sokolov will discuss breast cancer prevention, updates on the disease, and how to provide support for a loved one battling the disease amid these challenging times.
Also speaking at the webinar will be breast cancer survivor Peachy Felix and her husband, Dr. Kennard Felix, chairman of the department of otorhinolaryngology at a local medical center. They will share their experience and insights as a family on how to come out stronger when faced with this disease.
