Sophia Senoron, an 18-year-old champion varsity debater, is competing against more than 50 contestants from around the world at the Miss Multinational 2018 pageant to be held in New Delhi, India, with coronation night happening tomorrow.
The 5-foot-4 Financial Management student at San Beda University, has competed in various debating competitions locally and internationally.
Senoron went into intensive fitness training at Gold’s Gym under the expertise of Rodgil Flores and Jontie Martinez who designed the gowns for her for the competitions with designer Paolo Blanco. She also received supportive advice from Laura Lehmann, Cynthia Tomalla, Glyssa Leian Perez and reigning Miss Hispanoamericana Winwyn Marquez.
“They have been my rock and my second family,” Senoron said of her fellow Miss World Philippines queens.
Arnold Vegafria, Miss World Philippines National Director, said he is confident that Senoron will bring home the title. “She is very articulate and able to express herself well. It will be her main weapon against the other delegates.”
