With the Task Force Lingkod Cagayan and the Quick Response Team, emergencies in any part of the province are given immediate attention.

With just a call or text, the teams can take speedy action on any local problem, complaint, and request, and quickly respond to all kinds of emergency situations.

Cagayan Governor Manuel Mamba said every Cagayano in need is guaranteed to be served and attended any time of the day, regardless of the weather condition.

“We need to safeguard the lives of every Cagayano,” and this is done with the TFLC’s Quick Response Team’s round-the-clock service, Mamba stressed.

This is to ensure that every Cagayano will be served and attended to anytime of the day under any circumstance, the governor said.

TFLC is one of the first programs launched by Mamba. The QRTs are equipped with emergency calls and to needs such as ambulation, rescue operation, and peace and order works across the province.

The rescue members are well-trained in search and rescue operations that boost their interoperability in times of calamities, whether on land or in water scenarios.

TFLC was recognized as one of the outstanding rescue teams across the country and was awarded as First Runner-Up by the UNTV Rescue Summit in 2018.

It has made more than 12,000 rescue operations to Cagayanos since it started and has been transporting patients not only within the province but even as far as Manila.

The TFLC and QRT have their base stations in Iguig, Tuao, Sanchez Mira, Gonzaga, the sub capitol in Lal-lo and Tuguegarao City.

Eighteen Cagayan towns also operate their own emergency response teams, Mamba said.
