Lipa students showcase entrepreneurial talent

Robinsons Malls has always supported the entrepreneurial skills and potentials of young people via its Entrep Corner, which allows college students to be part of a real mall setting in selling their goods.

The students sell all kinds of merchandise—from homemade baked goodies to novelty gift items to clothes—for a given period and are treated like regular mall tenants.

De La Salle Lipa students are back for the second time this year in Robinsons Place Lipa to show their ideas and marketing skills at Robinsons Malls’ Entrep Corner.

The school has deployed a bigger delegation with students coming from different courses like Hospital and Restaurant Management, Marketing, Management Technology and Business Management. These students have formed 39 companies offering different products.

Among the goodies on sale until Dec. 22 are cupcakes from Cupcake Mo ‘Ko, cotton candies from Twist Up Cotton Candy, cookies from Cookie Lounge and Cookies Center, sweet finds from So Sweet, The Sweet Spot, SweetsBook.com, Belgian Fun, Fonka-Flan, Real Company, Rainballs and Mini Mini’s. Go gaga over chocolates from Chocoyey! and All About Chocolates.

Savory dishes are available from Dip Mo Na Now Na, So Chicken!, Chili-licious, Mini Pizza Square, Meaties & Yummies, HamBIGger, Boom!, Cheezee Place, Veggie Chips On The Go!, Sushiyala, Kahit Saan-dwich, Taco Time, Stop-Load-And-Eat, Kay Two Way, Crunchysaw, Spread It and Hawaiian Company are ready to energize you.

Greater Imagination, Eco Masters, Skirty Bag, Claze, De Cette Fashion, Wear Mo Ko shirts, Regalo ni Kulas, B! Babes and Stationery offer you the shirts and novelty items as gifts for everyone in your gift list.

Recognizing and developing the entrepreneurial skills and talents of today’s youth, Robinsons Malls provides a venue in the malls for students from different colleges and universities around the country to showcase their merchandise, service and products. Through the Entrep Corner, Robinsons Malls’ goal to provide students with actual experience in real retail setup and expertise in marketing and advertising activities come to reality.

Entrep Corner has furthered its advocacy with other colleges and universities like Miriam College, San Beda College and De La Salle University-Dasmariñas.

“We are very happy to accommodate the second batch of De La Salle Lipa students who have come up with new and interesting culinary treats, perfect for gifts this holiday season,” says Roseann Coscolluela-Villegas, Robinsons Land corporate PR manager.

Since Entrep Corner opened last weekend, the students have enjoyed brisk sales, she reports.
