Beefing up the academic scene in the south

BEEFING UP THE ACADEMIC SCENE IN THE SOUTH. Far Eastern University (FEU) last year marked the construction of its newest campus in Filinvest, Muntinlupa. The development aims to welcome up to 18,000 students in 2018. As the first tertiary campus inside Filinvest Alabang’s Central Business District, the new site will offer programs in business, health sciences, computer science, information technology, and engineering. FEU Alabang will have a 16-floor academic building that will primarily house classrooms and laboratories, a 7-floor administration building that will have an auditorium and a centralized library, and a separate 200-seat chapel. FEU Chair Emeritus Dr. Lourdes Reyes Montinola, Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi, representatives of both the Filinvest Group and the Casas+ Architect Group, and trustees and administrators of the FEU System of Schools, attended the event.
