Daily circulation of Manila Standard Today is Placed at 130,000
 Two-thirds of this is sold in Metro Manila, broken down as follows:
 Makati - 45%
 Quezon City - 15%
 Mandaluyong/Pasig/San Juan - 12%
 Muntinlupa/Parañaque - 11%
 Pasay/Manila - 9%
 CAMANAVA - 5%
 Eastern GMA - 3%
 The remaining third goes to the province: Luzon - 52%; Visayas - 35%; and Mindanao - 13%.
 Bulk of the circulation goes to dealers with only a small portion sold on subscription basis. The company has a promotional program to increase subscriptions this year, using strategies that have been proven to work in western countries.
 Average copies returned by dealers approximate the industry average of 30%
 Nearly 70% of subscriptions are delivered to the offi ce, with the remained delivered to homes.
 Based on a survey of MST subscribers in 2005, following are the demographics of MST readers:
 Average age is aound 38, with half aged 45 and over and the next largest segment at the 25 - 44 range (38%)
 Females (53%) slightly outnumber males (47%).
 They are well educated, with all readers having gone through college and beyond.
 Some 44% are employed as managers (including vice-presidents up to chief executive offi cers), 12% are supervisory positions, 19% are professional, and 10% are employed in government.
 A great majority are relatively affl uent:
 Close to 60% own their own home
 44% own 1 to 2 cars and 26% own three or more
 70% travel by air up to four times a year; 15% travel five or more times
 Almost half dine out once to four times a month, with 36% dining out fi ve or more times
 44% own exclusive membership in one or two clubs; 26% own three to fi ve or more memberships
 A third go shopping up to twice a month; another third go shopping fi ve or more times a month.
