Carlo Aquino is courting Maja again

Carlo had courted Maja some two years ago, but it didn?t prosper, with them not talking to each other for some time.

?I felt that he gave up then, but I am surprised he is making his presence felt once again.?

It?s obvious that Carlo is really smitten by her charms.

?Well, thank you. But as I?ve said, nothing is definite yet between the two of us. I can?t say if I will give him my sweet ?Yes? and we?ll be a couple this year. Let?s see if I?ll eventually end up with him,? she says, adding that Carlo has better chances this time around.

?I can see remarkable changes in him, like he?s exerting his best efforts to show his affection to me. I?m flattered, of course, but it?s still early to tell.?

Many are wondering what will happen to her love team with Geoff Eigenmann now that he?s reportedly moved to GMA-7.

?Is he really transferring? From what I know, he?ll just do Obra for GMA but he?s not exclusive there. Actually, he mentioned it to me while we were taping Moon River, our soap opera for ABS-CBN 2. We already taped for a month and we were assured by the management that the show will air possibly by the end of this year. Geoff and I are also scheduled to do a movie under Star Cinema. I just hope he stays a Kapamilya,? Maja quips.

Meanwhile, in a separate interview, Carlo expresses his happiness now that he and Maja are rediscovering each other.

?Our present situation is far better now than before. We?re happier now. I can say that the balance is steadier, so to speak,? he reveals.

According to the award-winning actor, he?s experiencing the opposite of what happened to him in the past.

?Before, I felt many didn?t like me for Maja for reasons I don?t know. I can feel the contradiction unlike now that things are somewhat smooth-sailing. Yes, we go out. I also visit her at tapings and at home.?

Slowly getting over Paolo

Although it?s true that she hasn?t totally recovered yet from her split-up with former boyfriend Paolo Contis, Isabel Oli says she?s making progress.

?I guess it?s not really that easy to throw away memories. Three years is three years. But definitely, I?m getting there. Actually, what matters is I?m happy knowing that I?m not alone in the ordeal I?m going through. I discovered that there are a lot of people who care and support me. I?m grateful for their concern,? she states.

Now that she?s unattached, the actress is savoring the feeling of being free.

?At least now, I can do anything I want without asking the permission or opinion of the other party. It?s my own decision. It feels good!?

Interestingly, people are asking if Paolo and her path already crossed since their breakup.

?As in we?ve personally met? Not yet.?

Is she prepared for that eventuality and what if he?s with current flame Lian Paz? ?It?s just okay with me. I?ve no problem with that if ever! As I?ve said, I?m in a happy state at present. Judai and Ogie in a movie

Ogie Alcasid says it?s a dream-come-true for him to be with Judy Ann Santos in a movie. The two are scheduled to start shooting for one under Regal Entertainment this year.

?That?s right!? confirms the singer-comedian. ?I?m Judai?s latest guy? on screen. I?m already talking to Regal regarding the project since I also dabble as member of the writing pool. This early, I already feel excited with the whole idea.?

The movie is a romantic comedy.

?Yes, it?s like the films of either Adam Sandler or Ben Stiller. It?s definitely a feel-good project that any type of viewer can enjoy. It has a heart, so to speak.?

Ogie is proud to announce that the movie is his brainchild along with real-life sweetheart Regine Velasquez.

?The concept is ours. We?re also getting help from the new writers who were commissioned by Mother Lily [Monteverde] for the project. This will be directed by Dante Garcia who handled Juday?s Ploning last year.?

Since this is the first time that he and Regine are writing a screenplay, the TV host-composer wants to make sure that their maiden venture will be a success.

?We are really very meticulous about the details. We want that everything brilliant we conceptualized will be transcended to the big screen. It?s an assurance that the public will enjoy watching and it will become a box-office hit,? Ogie says.
