| Donaire continues to train
INTERNATIONAL Boxing Federation/International Boxing Organization champion Nonito Donaire continues to train despite the decision of his manager Cameron Dunkin to pull him off the double-championship fight card ?Fast and Furious,? which was reportedly reset from March 22 to April 19, at the Araneta Coliseum. Donaire went through his usual routine at the Gerry Pe?alosa gym at the Mall in Mandaluyong City, while the World Boxing Organization bantamweight champion also trained hard for his showdown with Juan Manuel ?Juanma? Marquez for the WBO super bantamweight title in Puerto Rico on April 25. After his workout, Donaire told Standard Today, www.insidesports.ph that he had asked his manager to get him a fight. ?I will fight whoever it is, because we are like animals, hungry and ready to go and very confident. I am not choosing anybody. I just want to fight.? He indicated he was hoping he could get a fight on the March 28 fight card in Tijuana, Mexico, which features undefeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (38-0-1, 29 KOs) against the also undefeated Luciano Leonel Cuello (23-0, 10 KOs). Dunkin told Standard Today in a telephone conversation from Las Vegas that ?this fight is on pay-per-view and I am trying to work out something with Bob [Arum] and hopefully something gives. He?s got to get out of there. Ronnie Nathanielsz
