Jolina and Bebong?s 8-year romance goes pfffft!!

It?s official. Jolina Magdangal and Bebong Mu?oz are no longer a couple. The singer-host-actress confirmed this on national TV when she made a guest appearance in Showbiz Central. It followed Jun Magdangal?s confirmation days prior to her admitting that there?s no longer romance in the air.

Jolina is grateful to the fact that her family respected her need for introspection and space during those delicate moments.

?Actually, my folks don?t ask. They?re not meddlesome. They know the right time when I need their advice and guidance. In fact, when they went up to our place in Tagaytay on Dec. 26, I purposely didn?t join them. I decided to stay and cleaned my room, something which I haven?t done in the past. But during that particular time, I knew I had to clean up all the mess in my room and I did.

?Two days after, I followed them. It was at the dinner table when I broke the news to them. Of course, they were surprised but didn?t push the issue further. They didn?t ask for details like what caused our split-up. They just asked when it started. I know they understood that Bebong and I were able to settle everything.?

Now that it?s already out, what?s her plan this 2009?

?Although 2008 didn?t end on a positive note, I just want to stay and think positive this year. The past was a difficult year for Bebong and me, individually and as a couple. But I don?t want to harbor ill feelings about what happened and carry it over in my life this 2009. Even if it hurts, I have to remain positive and learn to cope alone. For me, 2009 should be a fresh start. I still want to wake up each morning with a clear and positive outlook plus a smile on the face.?

Eight years is quite a long time.

?Yes! And that?s what makes it harder. But as I?ve said, it shouldn?t be a stumbling block in my life. I have to move on no matter what. I need not hear what other people have to say or their speculations regarding the reason behind our breakup. Please!?

As an ender, the petite star admits she?s still not totally okay as of now but she?s certain she?ll get by.

?Honestly, I feel numb about the whole thing since it?s still fresh. But I just want to say thank you to all those who have shown their concern and gave their support in this low point of my life,? Jolina meaningfully sums up.

No more politics for Goma

Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres expressed that they are open to the idea of having another baby, but not Juliana.

Helen Gamboa said she is open to working with John Lloyd Cruz in the future. If we remember, the actor was her daughter Ciara?s former flame and until now, the two haven?t spoken to each other after breaking up.

?I see no problem with that. Whatever he and Ciara had before, I didn?t really meddle. One more thing, I can see that John Lloyd is a very good actor and it?s exciting to work with him if ever,? she says.

Asked about Ciara?s supposed wedding plans, Helen said, ?No, I don?t think there?s even a plan. For one, she?ll go back to Las Vegas to continue her work. Anyway, if ever she wants to get married already, she?ll have my blessing because I go for her current boyfriend, a non-showbiz guy. He?s kind, intelligent, and responsible!?
