Arigo finds new home

JOHN Arigo, one of Coca-Cola?s tried and tested veterans, is headed to a new home?the young Barako Bull squad.

The 6?4? hotshot will be bringing in his basketball savvy to a Bulls team orphaned by their superstars, including its multi-titled coach.

But the arrival of Arigo may turn out to be a start of something promising for a rebuilding franchise owned by Photokina.

A player with rich championship experience, the reed thin Arigo boasts an array of offensive weapons which will be valuable for newly instaled Barako Bull mentor Leo Isaac.

Arigo was unloaded by Coca-Cola to Barako Bull without getting anything in exchange.

?He?s a talented player, no doubt about it. And he is a veteran. But I cannot assess the impact of Arigo since he hasn?t practiced with the team yet,? said Isaac, who had his first practice session yesterday.

?I felt no pressure at all as this is a team on a rebuilding stage, but I still want a competitive team,? he added.

Meanwhile, Purefoods import Reggie Larry, a standout from Boise University, is scheduled to arrive this Sunday. Rey Joble
