Jinggoy downed by viral infection

Senate President Protempore Jinggoy Estrada was rushed to a hospital yesterday morning and he was diagnosed to have viral infection.

Estrada was expected to undergo surgery.

His Senate staff reported that he was in ?stable condition? after being brought to the Cardinal Santos Memorial Hospital after complaining of fever.

Two months ago, he underwent surgical operation to remove gallstones.
