| Muhlach?s reckless driving dismissed
The Quezon City Prosecutor?s Office has dropped the reckless driving case against actor Ni?o Muhlach after the taxi driver, who was hurt in a collision last year, failed to substantiate his charges. ?The detailed statement of facts of the incident required is necessary to at least get a bird?s eye view of the incident that would be determinative of probable cause,? the prosecutor said in a resolution. In April last year, charges of reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property and physical injuries were filed against the former child actor by driver Ernesto Narciso. The Quezon City Police Traffic Bureau endorsed the suit to the City Prosecutor?s Office. Muhlach, christened as Angelo Jose Rocha-Muhlach, 37, and a resident of 140 N. Domingo St., Cubao was in a wagon that collided with Narciso?s cab along Dr. Garcia Street near Quezon Avenue. Narciso, of 2260 Avocado St., Camarin, Caloocan City, driver of Jamonette taxi (TXJ-337), claimed that his vehicle was hit by Muhlach?s Mitsubishi Montero wagon (XTU-342). He was brought to the Capitol Medical Center for treatment. Joel M. Sy Egco |
