GO Teng Kok, the Philippine representative to the Laos Southeast Asian Games Federation, yesterday said the inclusion of basketball in the sports calendar for the 25th Southeast Asian Games will be formally approved during the SEAGF meeting to be held this month in Thailand.

Laos venue completed

LAOS officials yesterday announced that a training center, which cost 35 billion kip ($4 million) to build, has been completed way ahead of schedule and will be ready for use before and during the 25th Southeast Asian Games.
