Hitachi exec in sex suit

A Taiwanese executive of a multinational firm is being detained by authorities after his victims including a 16-year-old maid accused him of sexually molesting them several times in Mandaluyong City.

Police commander Supt. Carlos de Sagun identified the suspect as Leo Hsieh Yao Bin, a resident of 1402 Wack Wack Twin Towers, Wack Wack Road.

Case records indicate that the suspect is president of Hitachi Airconditioning Products Inc. Philippines, serving as chief executive since 2004.

De Sagun said Hsieh, 54, was arrested Wednesday night on complaints of Laura (not her real name) and her mother Angela Castro Lachica, 43.

Investigation showed that the minor was hired as a household help through her sister Fevie, 26, who has been living in with the suspect since July 14, 2007.

Laura said she was first molested right after arriving from Bayawan, Negros Oriental, ostensibly with Fevie?s connivance.

?My sister asked me to enter the room to run an errand [for Hsieh]. It was then that he locked the room and pushed me to the bed and forced himself on me,? she told the police in the vernacular.

The assault was repeated with the suspect threatening to kill her mother if she revealed what had happened.

Around 1:20 a.m. Wednesday, the suspect entered the maid?s room where Angela was lying on bed; she was roused from sleep to find the suspect on top of her.

Acts of lasciviousness and rape were filed against the suspect, while Fevie, who was included in the charge sheet, would be booked for child trafficking. Gigi Mu?oz David
