Will it be Sarah and Rayver?

Sarah Geronimo sees nothing wrong if she?s being linked to young actor Rayver Cruz these days.

?I think it?s just okay if we?ll be given the chance to know each other better. It doesn?t mean that because we?ll get close we?ll end up as steadies, right??

On the rumors that Rayver wants to get close to her, Sarah is tickled pink.

?I also feel the same. I can?t explain it but I?m happy!? she says.

Does this mean she?s finally ready to enter a relationship?

?Not yet! At this point in time, I still don?t want to have a boyfriend. Contrary to the notion that my mom is the one who doesn?t want me to be romantically involved with someone yet, it?s actually my personal choice. After three years perhaps.?

How does her conservative mom deal with the issue linking her to Rayver? ?My mom understands that I?m growing up and it is part of this phase. Everyone passes this stage. What?s important is that she trusts me and the decisions I make!?

Sarah is the serious type when it comes to the affairs of the heart. ?That?s why I?m very careful in that aspect. I don?t want to rush. I don?t want to commit a booboo. If the time comes when I finally found my Prince Charming, I?ll see to it that he is the only one. I don?t want the idea of boyfriend-hopping,? she explains.

Nursing a wounded heart

Isabel Oli didn?t negate that she?s not totally healed yet from her split-up with Paolo Contis. ?We were together for three years. It?s a long time. I can say that my break-up with him is my worst heartbreak. It really made me cry. It?s good that when it happened, I kept on praying that I?d overcome everything. Now, I?m still hurting but just a little. Thank God!? reveals the former commercial model.

Many wonder how she felt upon seeing Paolo and his new girlfriend Lian Paz confirming their relationship in several talk shows. ?Actually, it?s a complicated feeling. At first, I got a bit angry which I think is a normal reaction but now, no more. I feel a lot better,? she explains.

In spite of what happened between them, Isabel disclosed her relationship with Paolo?s family remains the same. ?You can?t take it away that easy. For three years, I learned to love them, too. In fact, I want to thank them for being so nice to me. I appreciate the fact that until now, they?re still texting me. Of course, I miss them,? she adds.

According to Paolo, his folks are having a difficult time moving on.

?Well, I don?t know what to say. I?m sad but it?s all up to them. I?m already out of the frame,? she states.

With regard to the issue of Paolo?s expensive gifts to her during their time (a ring and a house), Isabel explains, ?Honestly, I didn?t like those things. It?s inevitable that I?d appear opportunistic in the eyes of the public. But Paolo is really a generous soul. In fact, he?s like that to everybody. He is happy giving valuable things to his dear ones.?

Interestingly, Lian has been seen on TV wearing a ring from Paolo. This sent tongues wagging, especially those with malicious minds. They would like to know if she gave the ring back and if it?s the same ring that Lian wears.

?Yes, I returned the ring. But I haven?t seen an episode where she?s wearing it so it would be unfair to make any comment, right?? Isabel says.

Many are asking if she?s ready to enter into a new relationship to finally recover especially that she?s being linked to a basketball player of late.

?Oh! I?m not yet ready. It?s just three months though I?ve remarkably moved on. As I?ve mentioned earlier, there?s still little pain. I want to forget totally. If ever I fall in love again, I want to start on a clean slate. That will be fair for the next guy who will enter my life.

?Regarding the PBA player being linked to me, it can?t be because he?s my best friend for two years now. We were already close even during my time with Paolo. But who knows, right? I?m not closing my doors to any romantic possibility in the future!?

Despite the emotional turmoil she faced, the soft-spoken star is still grateful for the insights she gained.

?From the experience, I learned that happiness shouldn?t depend on the people surrounding you nor the material things which will fade away eventually. Happiness is how you deal your life. And my source of happiness is God!? Isabel avers.

Bad boy meets Pambansang Kamao

Robin Padilla is honored that boxing icon Manny Pacquiao agreed to be part of a soap he is starring in on GMA-7.

?This is actually our second time to work together. Remember, we hosted a reality show in another network in the past? But what makes it doubly exciting now is that it?s going to be a primetime soap opera. It?s simply flattering that he said ?yes? right away when the role was offered to him in spite of his busy schedule. Everybody knows he?s preparing for his much-anticipated bout with Ricky Hatton in May,? says the action superstar.

Interestingly, Manny will play himself in Totoy Bato.

?That?s right! Our characters will meet in the story. Eventually, he will be my boxing trainer.?

Since Manny will be training and acting for the soap simultaneously, Binoe says he can volunteer to be the Pambansang Kamao?s sparring partner during practice.

?It will be a big honor on my part!?

The role of Totoy Bato is physically demanding. Many are asking if he thinks he?s prepared.

?I?ve been training for a number of months now. I think I?m fit for the role,? assures Binoe.
