DAVAO City?As a young man, JJB was around when He doled the talent to study real hard. And as the national carrier?s prez and Zee Oh Oh, he was around when He distributed executive savvy.

Proof? Since he took over the helm, he continues to steer Philippine Airlines to the top as an executive extraordinaire that his opposite number at the other airline wish he also had.

As a crooner, he surely was present when He distributed a wonderful voice. Why, when he sings his own rendition of ?My Way? he probably makes The Voice literally turn on his grave?every time.

In other words, as PAL president, JJB is a better singer.

And I?m sure that when JJB takes that microphone and swoons to LT that he?s the ?Greatest Love Of All,? that other airline?s passengers, who had to walk to their planes instead of using the tubes due to cost cutting, might just agree with him.

Get this: When JJB wowed sportswriters with his rendition of ?Wonderful Tonight? during the traditional Media Dinner ably tendered by new PAL Interclub publicity committee boss Jonathan Gesmundo Monday, he was right, too.

And get this: When ?Eya? brought the house down with her version of ?Joy To The World? every child in the world sings on Christmas eve, HSU wished he was also present at the Waterfront.

If you are wonderING what those initials stand for, Jaime Bautista is for the PAL prez, LT is for PAL chairman and chief executive Lucio Tan and HSU is for PAL executive vice prez and deputy chief executive Henry So Uy.

And Eya? Well, she?s only the executive secretary of PAL?s corporate communications department.

The guys I have mentioned provided the entertainment during the Media Dinner. As usual, the food was sumptuous, the night was starry and everyone had fun. For this, our thanks go to LT, JJB, HSU, Eya and Jonathan.
